Were they even a thing... It was humorous, really, to think that the man before him had little idea of the sheer amount of combinations of hybrids within the world, but he supposed that the man before him was a new vampire. “There are... They’re called Salamanders,” the gargoyle stated, eyeing the large master with a curious glance. He looked like he could have been a dragon, or even an Alpha werewolf - and he even looked like he could share his blood - but his scent was sweet... too different than what he’d expect. “But I must admit... I’m surprised to hear that. You looked as though you and I could have been kin.”

It always left Manny a little unnerved when a guard would tell him a master requested his services for the evening with no more information than that. It would plant a seed of anxiety in the pit of his stomach that would grow increasingly as the guard escorted him to the designated suite. Was the guy he was being taken to one of those sadists around here? Was the vamp going to stick a straw in him and just suck him dry like a Capri Sun? These were the thoughts that floated around in his head until they reached the door. The guard knocked, and Manny was surprised to see a rather handsome, gentle looking man with long golden hair and kind blue eyes. He blinked once, almost confused, and the guard elbowed him in the side in a reminder to speak up. “Oh, uh, you requested me for a rental? ...Sir?” he tacked on for the guard’s sake.
