this might be my first official skzversary but I am so so full to bursting of joy and love and pride- plus I love scrapbooking - that I couldn't resist! I hope they know how happy they make us and how proud we are of them, and that they remain happy and healthy in whatever they do for all the years to come! happy 8 years stray kids!
(for reference, Ramadan is the muslim month of fasting from sunup to sundown, suhoor is the meal we eat pre-fast, and iftaar is the meal we break our fast with, and you don't have to fast if you're sick, too old or young, or on your period)
Bang Chan: australia has a pretty big muslim community, so I believe he already knows what Ramadan is! he's not got the dates marked or anything but if you mention it offhand he'll check in all day to see if you need a break, and "subtly" will gesture over his shoulder if you need to go pray in his studio quickly. I assume as a dad of 7 he has a snack drawer that you're allowed to pilfer for iftaari. and also post prayer snacks. ofc he's up when you're supposed to be eating suhoor, and will come get you if you oversleep your alarm.
Leeknow: One of many for whom this is an entirely new concept. I assume he will be fast blinking at you for a good few seconds while he tries to process the concept. he's not going to say anything afterward, but he has an alarm set for ten minutes before iftaar and calls a rehearsal break in time for you to break your fast and reset. also he procures tiny hijabs and prayer cap for soondoongdori and will spam their photoshoot in the group chat and bubble. when you get up for suhoor in the morning, there's a meal already ready and prepped for you In the fridge.
Changbin: It takes him a couple minutes of extremely loud and shocked questions but he locks in immediately on checking your meal plan for the month to make sure you're hitting all the nutrition goals. Changbin does NOT approve of pakora month and no amount of islamophobia allegations will sway his mind he is making you a healthy iftaar and suhoor plan and will be very disappointed if you don't follow through. but invite him to an iftaar party and boy is getting DOWN in pakora town!!! fry everything !!!
Hyunjin: I think he would really like the aesthetic of the month overall! We know he loves a good moment of silence and inner contemplation and there's no better time for that than sitting in a beautiful mosque at night during taraweeh. he would also be totally intrigued by the calligraphy art, and be willing to spend some of his time making a new piece of art for the mosque. all the mosque aunties are also gushing over how handsome he looks helping old men into their chairs. he is entirely bewildered by the moonlighting concept though, what do you mean you're looking for the tiny sliver of the moon for Eid, it's not visible, what if it's CLOUDY.
Han: Han is my "noT EVEn WAtER?!!?11?" coded boy. he is concerned is he worried he is highly doubtful this is safe. thankfully he's also a very good sport about it, and will wake up groggily at 4am to sit like those suhoor cats at the table with you. he will go sprinting out of the room if he realizes he's eating in your sightline, and will treat you like you're a piece of glass trying to get you not to overexert yourself. he would also be the one smacking a water bottle out of your hand when you're trying to take a drink until he realizes it's after sunset, or if you're on your period XD
Felix: Like Chan, I imagine he was exposed to the concept in Sydney, and I'll take it a step further to say that he's probably attended an interfaith iftaar or two. he knows the rules, but checks in with you to see if there's anything you specifically need. and asked or not, he delivers a tray of fresh brownies for that hit of sugary energy you need before you to go the midnight taraweeh prayers. he's also out in the parking lot with the kids keeping them occupied playing soccer while all the parents are praying, and becomes their favorite opponent.
Seungmin: He genuinely has no idea what's going on, but he becomes your biggest op during the month once he realizes the system. it doesn't usually bother you to be around people who are eating or drinking but the way seungmin seems to relish in it, standing at the perfect angle to see the cheese pull, or just close enough to smell the delicious stew he got for lunch. will cheekily suggest you go on a hike on your first Saturday, and its not until he's close to death bc you're still having caffeine deprivation pangs that he leaves you alone, disappearing for the day and then bringing back a basket go fried chicken during iftaar and just saying he brought some leftovers for dinner. will also attempt some beautiful recitation but quickly bows out even though it's a gorgeous rendition
Jeongin: He's very much worried that it's the full thirty days and not just sunrise to sunset, but once he figures that out, he's locked in. Innie's carrying a protein bar and a bottle water with him in case long days hit sunset and you need smth to break your fast with. Honestly, I also think he watches you struggle and die your way through the first few, decides to fast one day in solidarity, breezes through his day of rehearsals and dance practice and recordings, and then helps you make an iftaar too. How dare he have so much energy this is why kids have it easier 😭 he also gets into the outfits and decides to show up in the nicest Thobe and brand new sneakers and is the talk of the young guys of the mosque who simply cannot compare in their sweats
a final thing, this is all from the perspective of me! one single person on the internet trying to have a fun time! please be kind, I am well aware that this is just my imagination and they've got all their own things, I just like to write. if you have nothing nice to say leave! or block me if you hated it! guys I think that Tim should die of his Boyfriend Being Too Hot syndrome all the time but this time especially because Kon keeps buying mesh/sheer/see through clothes- and by clothes I mean shirts AND pants- because to his slightly untrained xray vision, everything is sheer.
