I find the arguments that people make against taybert/kruelee to be so dumb, because every single argument could apply to their platonic relationship too.

"It's illegal for a therapist and client to date!"

yeah, it's also technically illegal to murder your client, or turn them into some sort of servant/slave creature. It's not even legal or ethical to befriend them, as in order to do therapy, a professional boundary has to be maintained (due to the imbalance of the therapist being there to listen to the client's problems, and not vice versa), and yet albert directly asked taylor to become his friend.

"I hope we can become friends. Maybe we can write letters to each other?"

Not to mention that I don't really think therapist/client is the genuine dynamic between albert and taylor; clearly albert is not there to be an actual therapist to them, if anything, taylor is more of a therapist to him LOL

"they have an age gap! A 30 year old dating a 19yr old is creepy!"

True. Just as much as a 30 year old kidnapping and then "befriending" and keeping in touch with a 19 year old is.

Why do people act like platonic relationships and romantic/sexual ones are so inherently different, that enjoying a problematic platonic one is fine, but enjoying a problematic romantic/sexual one automatically means you must be endorsing it? And don't tell me it's "because the latter romanticises and normalizes it!" because people romanticise their platonic relationship and treat it as not a big deal all the time.

And this ain't an issue, they are fictional characters. It is obvious that people finding taylor and albert's platonic dynamic wholesome doesn't speak on how they'd react to it if it was real. I simply want to point out the hypocrisy of those that treat these two as inherently different, when they're not that far apart at all.

I also find it annoying how also some people that ship taybert bend over backwards to insist that it is not problematic. Unless you make a drastically different au, taybert that's fairly close to canon is going to be problematic, because well, the platonic relationship is too. The only reason people do this is really just to distance themselves from the "nasty darkshippers". But in that way, they have to justify questionable dynamics LOL

Things would be far chiller if people treated fictional romantic/sexual (and other) relationships like we treat fictional platonic relationships.

Ofc many of u will hate me for this but oh well. I create what I like and I ship Kruelee really hard and before hating on me read this description.

Many of u will whine rn "BUT THE AGE GAP IS SOOO BIG ALBERT IS 30 AND TAYLOR IS 19!!!". 1st of all how do we know at what year occured the situation in TWDAK? It could occure earlier than the situation in VTSOM. For example in VTSOM its year 2084 when Vin Vic and Alb are 30, and TWDAK could occure in year 2079 for example when Albert was 25. Why do I think so? Well lets start about Vincent, in the minigame he states "sometimes u die in 25 and arent burried till 60" which means he could have died in age of 25 and turned into a cyborg. We dont know when Albert phoned him thought, when he was still alive or dead already. But so as Vin is a famous Lawyer - surely about his death would scream news, and I dont think Albert would call his dead enemy. So it might be that TWDAK occured earlier than VTSOM and the age gap between Taylor and Albert isnt 10+ years but 6 or on 1 year less even. + I tried skipping to scene when Taylor woke in front of their PC to see the year in corner, but it was blurred.

But even if my logic isnt right - many ppl date with such age gaps and they are totally ok, and for someone who will tell me "but its illegal for therapist to date their patient" its wrong. It aint illegal if the treatment is ended and from that treatment passed 6 months. So basically yeah, I got the right to ship it and if u will hate on my oh well, thats your deal. I got the right to create what I like.

But about the drawing: the 2 just had their 1st son, and Albert is just way too happy and might flood over the floor, poor guy cant believe he is a dad now. While Taylor, well they are tired of shit, but also happy o3o.

Ok so many of u guys didnt understand my intentions and now are attacking me for no reason. Yes, I do ship Kruelee, but in a no harmful way. I just want both characters to be happy and so I draw fluff stuff with them. Its just making me happy also and I dont ship it because of it being problematic/abusive, no, its my preference and I never made this ship abusive or anything like that. Both characters in my Kruelee AU agreed to this relationship, both are happy and nobody hurts anybody. I got the right to create my own AUs, I dont force anyone to ship it. If u feel uncomfortable by this ship, literally just block me right away and dont shit on my posts, I still will ignore u or tell u to shut the f*ck up, thats my page and I am allowed to draw whatever the f*ck I want. Also someone said I turned Taylor to a girl by making them able to have a child with Albert - no, thats NOT TRUE. They are still non-binary in my AU. I just made them able to do that so there are some happy sweet family vibes in TWDAK fandom. But ofc someone decided to shit on me and call me a proshipper, even tho WE ALL KNOW TAYLOR IS F*CKING 19 AND IT MEANS "ADULT". NOT A "BABY ADULT" HOW SOMEONE SAID OR "BARELY F*CKING LEGAL".
