So I just went to church (because I was forced to lmao) and the pastor was talking about how laws have changed over the years and he gets to a point where he says "should homosexuals and transgenders be in the military" and many people said no but I just ignored it but then hr went on to say "making same sex marriage legal and its disgusting." Being part of the lgbtq+ community myself, I was obviously like, "what is even wrong with this person." I made some face of disgust at his comment which was extremely unnecessary btw and ignored the speech again. Well about 10 or 30 minutes later he suddenly said "being a homosexual is a sin and must be fixed." I didn't get up and spoke my mind but I just mentally said that you can't fix homosexuality just like that lmao. I know not all Christians are homophobic like this but honestly sitting in this church felt like I was in the replica of the damn westboro baptist church.
