Chavela Vargas: If you were to assign your F/O(s) a flower, what flower would you choose and why? If your F/O(s) were to assign you a flower, what flower would they choose and why?

My first thought for Mel was a sunflower since she's as bright and radiant as the sun lol. Looking up some symbolism though, I found the Castilleja flower which are also called paintbrushes and represent passion, creativity, and the courage to forge new paths (at least according to wikipedia). Which imo is really perfect for Mel, both because she's a painter and because she's trying to forge a new path ahead for herself and her family. Then I think Mel would assign me a bellflower, both because the purple leaves fit with Corinna's color palette and bcs they can represent gratitude and unwavering love, which she both feels towards and from me

Janelle Monáe: What are you and your F/O(s) favourite physical features of each other?

I adore Mel's tattoos, specifically the ones she originally picked out for herself. I think tattoos are such a neat way to express yourself and who you are to the world, and Mel's serve both as a work of art and armor to protect her. I'd love to trace the shape of them with kisses tbh. And I think Mel would like my eyes

Oh Corinna does not like Ambessa at all, both in terms of her relationship with Mel and Corinna being part Ionian. For those who haven't read the book about Ambessa, she was the reason that Noxus was able to invade Ionia, and that's something that Corinna considers completely unforgivable. She doesn't like Noxus in general, but Ambessa's role in the Ionian invasion and subsequent attempts to colonize Ionia means that she really tries to avoid her as much as possible. The exception to her trying to avoid Ambessa comes to Mel, which is also part of where Corinna's distaste for her comes from. bcs she will gladly be with Mel around Ambessa bcs she knows how much of an impact Ambessa had on Mel's view of herself, and she hates how Ambessa made Mel feel like she's not good enough. So she tries to be Mel's emotional support around her mom lol. She's never rude or anything like that to Ambessa (unlike Jayce, who constantly beefs with her), but she just doesn't like her

1. What's the first reason that comes to mind when you think about why you love your f/o?

His skill as a doctor. I love when someone's really good at what they do lol, tbh I think it's one of my main things I look for in a possible f/o. I like to think he could use some of those skills too to help me out with my own medical/physical stuff :)

7. What color do you associate with them?

A subdued green, at first I associated dark blue with him but tbh the green he wore this season was really his color

what dishes are you eating for lunar new year? :D

my family doesn't really celebrate but we ate pancit yesterday (for a long life ✨)

My mom and I made rice cake soup together! It's a centerpiece of Seollal foods (the tradition is you eat that to turn a year older with the new year), but we also had a Korean onion pancake that we split and some chestnut bread. Then not a Korean thing but something I wanted to make since it's a special occasion, but I made some mango sticky rice :)

🌻 how does your f/o take care of you and/or react if you’re injured? any injury applies. it could be as simple as bumping into the corner of a table and bruising your hip, or maybe something as severe as coming back wounded from an intense battle

The second I get hurt, Robby is going into doctor mode lmao. He's looking me over, making sure that there's not any visible wounds or anything like that. And this includes when I get sick or have some physical pain issues, he is there asap and is trying to figure out what's going on so he can help me. And once he's figured out what's going on, he's pampering me as much as possible and making me rest so he can take care of me. He's also sticking around more than usual to try to kiss me better

☀️ your f/o surprises you with a gift after noticing how hard you’ve been working lately, and they need to express how proud of you they are. what’s the gift?

Robby knows I like to wear rings, so probably a nice new one. And probably one that's fairly expensive lol, he's got a lot of money with an attending doctor's salary but isn't big on getting himself a ton of stuff, so he likes to spend money on me instead
