         'um.. why are you sniffing my hair?'

     The thuds her heart pounded against a cage of ivory, resilient only to certain degree of pressure of heightened force. Shadows pulled deep above the city’s concrete landscape of high buildings, limiting the human existence to an ant-like degree, infinitesimal when set up for comparison with the endless orbit surrounding them all. Golden rays of the warming sun were looked for in vain, gone with the sweet whispers of the wind blowing clouds across the afternoon’s sky, as she occupied a small seat on unstrustworthy wood of an old bench, frangible looking upon first sight. Her sunglasses served no purpose, neither did the presence she assumed lingered on right in front of her.

                          “Could you please take a step aside? You’re blocking the sun.”

                                                              Ironic.
