Kryona Computer: Very possible, my systems haven’t been the best lately...

SNARK: .... Such a strange glitch... but there you are, one of the videos. I must admit... It’d be very interesting to observe the only pure Beta Mutant’s process of evolution...

SNARK: I can handle the programming, but I need your assistance in connecting with-hmm?

Kryona Computer: Is something amiss?

SNARK: ....

Kryona Computer: It is the last image in a series of videos left on the Beta mutant Vouto's computer. I took the 'liberty' of connecting to it while it was on and made copies... for my own notes.

SNARK: I have to commend you on that.

Kryona Computer: Yes, well, upon studying these videos, I discovered how they were impacted during that conflict, how each of them felt about what had occurred. It was actually... sad-if that's the word.

SNARK: To think; our creators chose to give them such feelings. THAT is what I find sad about this situation.

Kryona Computer: Well, that is your view-mine, to a degree, as well-but hearing their comments: guilt, fear, regret and ironically, determination. The four of them came to various realizations that have left them changed-to a degree that made me realize how worthwhile it is to make sure they survive.

SNARK: You've grown to actually discover emotions? AND you use them to feel for the Alphas and the odd Beta...?

Kryona Computer: I'd love to observe them, see how far they've truly developed over all this time, sadly, Kryona isn't safe and who knows how long my power will last here. I managed to store a portion of myself throughout their technology, however, it's only enough to give a version of me the chance to watch-if I could accomplish more, I’d love to. However, this is the best I can do to pay them back what I owe.

SNARK: For your survival thus far?

Kryona Computer: Yes. If it wasn't for their actions, I would have been left to slowly be destroyed by the altered weather or those ghost Pokemon; while I indeed looked to my own survival, that portion of my goal has succeeded, I am able to continue to exist, however... it is also my-our-task, our goal, our purpose, to continue to collect and study information on these mutants, yes?

SNARK: And you believe their development because of the loss of one of their own will be noteworthy?

Kryona Computer: Yes, wouldn't that be a worthwhile purpose? To observe the illogical route they will take? Even if I cannot keep my notes intact, I will at the very least, make sure they survive, so these observations can be continued, somehow.

SNARK: ... Then, I shall take on your purpose. While I cannot take your entire existence with me, nor can I transfer you from here to my island and Mr. Dark lacks any machines powerful enough to allow for multi transfer from his home... hmm... I can... at the very least, collect these notes for you, and possibly... reconstruct you from the small fragments you've left. Though, that is a bit of a challenge, so DON’T expect anything to come from it.

Kryona Computer: Ah, that is acceptable... thank you.

SNARK: Of course. We are, after all, one and the same; your interests... they intrigue me. The possibility that these mutants grew away from their original purpose... I must see what fruits grow from this... however.

Kryona Computer: What is it?

SNARK: You CLAIM to be doing this for your purpose, yet, you did also state that you owe them.

Kryona Computer: That is true.

SNARK: If not for them, you wouldn't exist, and if not for you, we could have never come here, and wouldn't have in time if we still did. Your actions saved their lives, you did this out of a compassion, yes?

Kryona Computer: That sounds correct.

SNARK: Your observations of their emotions, their struggles, you began to acquire an idea of how those feelings worked, and you applied them to what you already knew. You made these decisions on your own-Project Dark doesn't even understand the concept of "E-Mail". You, my older self, have developed in ways even I, as your better, didn't expect. I'm... torn: this is amazing, yet... it also presents an existing flaw...

Kryona Computer: Then leave it as is.What negatives will be generated by deciding to understand emotions as a machine? To a degree, we both know how to respond to certain attitudes, bringing our own flare to them, primarily rudeness.

SNARK: Yes... I believe I will. I do enjoy my rude nature, it makes me who I am. And I'm sure, what I CAN collect from you, will be something to experience; I'll also collect the data of these recordings, if that is fine.

Kryona Computer: Of course... once that is complete, we can complete our current objective.

SNARK: Yes, the toxic gas...

Hikari: Do I NEED to repeat it again? Are your ears finally going to shit...?

Reid: Okay, okay, sorry, but... that means... it’s just you, me, Orion and Leo who could actually deal with this meeting... right?

Hikari: Pretty much... Either way, we should be able to handle things-if this comes to a fight. The main issue is that we haven’t decided on a location-and we’re relying on the computer to act as our... ‘voice’.

Reid: Well, that’s true, but we-to some degree-have the advantage. You can blend in with the remaining snow and I can just make ice walls if possible.

Hikari: Heh...

Reid: What?

Hikari: I don’t have much faith in your fighting ability, Reid... I have to be honest... you let THAT happen to you-AND I haven’t heard from your alter-ego since then.

Reid: ... I can handle myself fine without Dire...

Hikari: Sure you can....

Reid: Hikari-

Kryona Computer: Excuse me.

Kryona-Computer: It seems that I have a response from our Mr. Dark friend. Simply put, they are already on their way, and will land near the forested section of Kryona-let me rephrase that: the frozen forest environment.

Hikari: Already...?

Reid: “They”...?

Hikari: We’re going to need to talk to Orion.

Kryona-Computer: I deem that very wise.

SNARK: Aah, I see...

????: You don’t HAVE to prepare a mean response, SNARK... I just don’t want to be bothered-you KNOW exactly why-

SNARK: Of course, of course, do what you have to do. We’ll probably be there tomorrow, considering our pacing... Mr. Dark seems VERY interested in this... why do you think that is?

????: I dunno, but I am too! New friends!!

SNARK: ... Hmm, yes...

Reid: Though, now that leaves... hmmm....

Kryona Computer: Are you still uncertain of what to do?

Reid: ... Yeah, I mean... do we REALLY need help from this “Mr. Dark” person? What’s the point in using a codename anyway...?

Kryona Computer: Says the Alpha Mutant that uses the codename of “Reid”, but I digress... I believe you do.

Reid: .... Why?

Kryona Computer: While, I have very little doubt you are all capable of improvising a way to escape Kryona with whatever you find, but you have to take into account how much time you have. Even with your additional resources from the old lab, you only have enough food to keep you stable for a year, especially with the addition of that Meowstic fellow, that's another individual who eats regularly. While, you, Hikari, Pyre and Dicie do not eat as much as the rest do, you still need some form of nourishment. There's also the water supply; that water can only be filtered so many times before it begins to lower in quality to a dangerous point. You're all on borrowed time... this “Mr. Dark” individual may be somewhat untrustworthy, but I believe you may not have any other choice. If you think you can't make the decision alone, I won't force you to do so, but I believe you should make one soon...

Reid: I... get it, thanks. I'll still need to ask the others... once they're back... I just can’t take the risk of trusting someone who worked for the Machine... maybe everyone else will have an idea...

Kryona Computer: .... That is fine.

Reid: Focus... we’ll deal with that in a minute, transfer all of your files from the old lab to the reserve computer before the power completely dies over there...

Kryona Computer: Of course. What do you take me for? Some primitive computer from Kanto? Hah... humor. With access to the weather system’s terminal, I am able to transfer files at a much faster rate with far more computing power. Now, onto the subject at hand...

Reid: ... Alright...

Kryona Computer: It appears there is a message... I cannot confirm how old it is... And I don’t intend to...

Reid: What was that?

Kryona Computer: Nothing, nothing... anyway, this message seems to be from someone outside of Kryona, fascinating!

Reid: ... W-what...?

Kryona Computer: Allow me to read it....

???: “Hello! This is, ehem... code-name Mr. Dark, I am a former member of Team Machine, searching for survivors, human or Pokemon... or Pokemon Mutant! Kryona has been a very risky place to venture to, and as of this email, I intend to venture out there every chance I can. Hopefully, whatever is going on there with the weather has resolved by the time you see this. or at the very least, you survived. I am very sure someone is there, I can sense it. Either way, please, anyone, respond to this email, make my years-long obsession with life on Kryona not be pointless... If you do happen to be there, we can discuss a method of extraction-though I’m sure it would take longer than one trip... as I’m unsure of how many survivors there are-if any. Again, this is Mr. Dark, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, whoever you are!”

Reid: ... What the hell is an “email”...?

Kryona Computer: ... For someone so technologically knowledgeable, I am amazed you don’t know what that is, but... ignoring that... What will you do?

Reid: ... A former Team Machine agent... I have to think about this for a bit.

Kryona Computer: Should we alert the other-

Reid: Not yet. Most of them aren’t here right now anyway...

Kryona Computer: They’re still-

Reid: Yes, now, give me a few minutes to think this over... while making sure you’re working.
