One of the other anons mentioned the blinking, and that was something that bothered me because I felt like it happened every other page in Lost Stars. So I looked it up. And it was in fact happening almost every other page. The word "blinked" was used a grand total of 150 times. (The silent thaw was the second runner up, with only 14 uses. The other books only use it a handful of times)
I’m guessing Cherith is more than a fan of using blinks than Kate lol (Cherith wrote lost stars while Kate wrote Silent Thaw) I wonder how many “blink”s Veil of Shadows has
