Hey deedee :) when you edit your photos, do you crop/resize them to a certain size? I like to use photos that are larger than the recommended 500px width, but they end up being blurry when I put them in a photo set. Just thought I'd ask because your pics are always lovely!

Thank you :3 I resize them to 600x450px, it’s an old habit. But I think they also look a bit blurrier on tumblr (that site is a mess, seriously) I heard that certain sizes look sharper, but I’m not sure anymore. I’m curious about what size other people use!

hi there :) I was wondering how you get deco in the corners of kitchen counters (for example post/125620572538). Whenever I try that, my counter corners stop being connected :/

I use omsp’s, but mine often do the same thing and I’ve yet to find a reason for it. I think it’s just luck when I load a lot and find them still in the same place I left them. It is annoying though. Anyone else know why it happens?

Great minds think alike! :D I just downloaded that and put it into my testing hood to have a look at it. I like the results, and I think I will use it for my ice cream shop. The colors are not hard to decorate around either. Thank you for the suggestion! (high fives krys for their awesome suggestion and good taste in cc)

The higher the number for DXT the higher the quality (and the filesize). It’s always worth trying 3 if the texture gets crunchy whereas 5 is usually used for transparencies or VERY HD textures like clothing.

Good to know! Thank you again. I will have to play around with it a little more, maybe even with different objects. It's so nice to have people who actually understand all this stuff and even nicer when they can explain it to little old me too. :)

Congrats!! It was crazy addicting when I learned to recolor :)

I can see how it would be! I feel so powerful after just one little picture! Now I want to do them for all my families, but I also want to play my game, so that will probably win out. ;)
