Do Karkat and Terezi ever have closure? Same with Gamzee and Tavros? Gamzee and everyone really, I feel bad for his crappy non ending in canon.

Karkat and Terezi stay friends, even through her whole relationship with Dave, and then Karkat’s whole relationship with Dave, even though it’s weird, they’re still all friends through it. She becomes a bit of a recluse in her 20′s for a while, starts living with Gamzee and it’s weirdly intense and mutually catastrophic. But in her 30′s she moves out, her and Karkat and Dave become really close again. She gives an awesome speech at their wedding. <3

As for Gamzee, once Tavros moves back to New Alternia, He reconnects with Gamzee and they talk things over. They’re not really able to become close friends again but there’s no ill will anymore. Same with everyone else, Gamzee eventually patches things up with most of them, though he never really connects with them the same as he used to. 

Gamzee has been through a lot at this point, including getting kicked out of his brother’s house after his father dies, and being in and out of psychiatric hospitals most of his adult life, but In his 40′s things have mostly calmed down for him and he has a steady job he loves as a baker and cake decorator. He’s keeping his shit together and has a group of friends. Not necessarily the people he knew in highschool but that’s probably for the best, and all in all things are good.

so, what do dave and dirk think of cal? (kinstuck)

Dave’s a little annoyed and occasionally unnerved by him, but he doesn’t let it show and acts like a good brother when he can. Cal mostly hangs around Bro or Dirk though. Dirk gets along great with Cal (even though they’re double-cousins and not actually brothers, he most acts like his big brother out of all the other kids), and Cal often hangs around his room asking questions while Dirk’s making robots or sketching.

Do Bro and Dave have the same bond in Kinstuck Canon as with regular canon?

Sort of, but because Dave had other parents and siblings to balance out how he was raised, Bro’s intensity and eccentricity didn't effect in the same way, he was just always like a weird uncle/older brother figure, but Dave never hero worshiped him. Bro still taught him how to swordfight (along with Dirk and Davis) but in a safer more realistic way, (no baby-throwing, etc.)

Can you tell us a bit about Dave and Terezi's relationship?

they meet in highschool and start dating in grade 10, their relationship lasts until partway through college, when things start going south for Terezi emotionally and she drops out of law school. They have kind of a bad break up and aren't able to go back to being friends until a few years have passed. But during the time that the portraits take place, they are very much an item. Their relationship was basically a super cool friendship with makeouts and stuff, they had a lot of fun together.

That is one interesting family.I have so many questions now. Are the adults more or less polygamous? Are Dave and Davis twins? What's that dynamic like? Is Hal the type of little brother that wants to be Dirk? And is Lil' Cal still creepy or? OH GOSH THIS IS SO WIERD CAUSE NORMALLY I DONT CARE FOR DRAMA TYPE STUFF!

All the adults are very practical, independent and career driven, and view romantic relationships as just kind of a thing that happens that you can’t really control and just get on with their lives and not worry about it. Not one of them has a jealous or possessive bone in their body, nor a moral problem with polygamy, but besides Roxanne (who’s dating John’s Dad) none of them are seeing anyone.

Dave and Davis are identical twins, they get along well, but because they’re also very similar in personality and have a lot of the same interests, the both suffer from identity issues, especially Davis, who has always felt like the bonus twin. It didn’t help that when he was a kid his family would call him “Other Dave” and “Dave 2”. They thought it was cute and funny but it kind of messed him up…

Hal is a year younger than Dirk, and they have some similarities, but Hal always tried to separate himself from Dirk and do his own thing. Their interests are actually pretty different, and even though Hal was the younger brother, he often ended up being the one to give Dirk advice, and was always more ambitious and inscrutable. Dirk is much less comfortable and sure of himself than Hal is.

Cal is still pretty creepy. He’s got huge eyes and and unsettling grin and likes to appear out of nowhere. Dave is the only one who is actually unsettled by him though. He’s not a bad kid, just…uh, a little odd. He’s always running around bouncing off of walls or hanging off of one of his older siblings or parents and wanting to come along whenever anyone’s doing anything. He doesn't like to be alone and is very outgoing and energetic. He giggles a lot. :P
