"Death of a General"

I haven't drawn properly in ages and got in the mood for something angsty. So here's one of my favourite subjects, with Pitch being born from the prison being opened.

I am very late for @rotg-hope-week (frikkin' artblock) but I managed to squeeze out 2 pieces for now.

Rain - Jack watches as the rain washes away the last of the snow. He doesn't mind. He knows it's part of the natural order. Winter has had its turn, now it's time for spring.

Birds - I haven't drawn Tooth in so frikkin long, I feel like I've forgotten how to x.x but at least both she and the peacock turned out decently.

Day 2: Degrade

In a way, he supposed he shouldn't be surprised, Pitch Black thinks.

It has been a while since the Easter Battle. Since the meeting between Pitch and Jack Frost in Antarctica.

Their... well, one supposed it could be called a "sculpture" was standing where it had been created. A perfect blend of cold and dark.

Except the dark had weakened, and heavy wind storms were not unusual in Antarctica, leaving some of the spikes to be broken off, shattering against the ground or impaling where they fell.

Ah well, the Boogeyman thinks. Perhaps even if he had won, it wouldn't have lasted forever.

Nothing ever does.

Day 1: Parasite

Day 1: It starts with what Jack thinks it's a bruise. It's right after the Battle of Easter, so he figures it's a final souvenir from the Boogeyman. It's a little sore and it's left a noticeable mark, but nothing his hoodie can't hide. More annoying than anything.

Day 2: It has spread. Why has it spread? Because something is wrong What? What's wrong?

You're wrong

No, no it was just a bruise! Why has a bruise spread?

Because it's not a bruise. Something is wrong. It's you who is wrong.

Maybe North might know... Or maybe...

Maybe he will think Jack is wrong.

Day 10: North finds him in one of the attic rooms. Jack is curled up in a corner, huddled up and shivering as though he is freezing. North can practically hear the boy's teeth chatter as he mumbles incoherently to himself.

"Jack?" He calls out, opening the door to let in more light.

Jack yelps and curls up further, shying away from the light as if it burns him.

And then North sees the marks on the bare part of his legs, like black soot spreading through his veins.

Spreading like a parasite.

I haven't drawn any Dark Chocolate in a long time, and also had the need to draw something silly, so there you go lol

I've been cleaning up and going through some old sketchbooks, and I found some doodles I hadn't shared.

A silly one featuring... Helicopter!Bunny. It was probably based on book!Bunny's helicopter ears lol

The early days of Ebony and Kozmotis (I say early, as an earlier doodle in the same sketchbook marked it as being from 2014). Ebony punched someone who probably deserved it, and Koz is just smitten with his punchy wifey

A Nightmare Unicorn. Based on some notes I found on another page, it was possibly an idea to make Nightmare versions of Sandy's unicorns. I described Sandy's as "Big, gentle and shaped like a draft horse", while the Nightmare Unicorns are "vicious, slender and fast" and "built like a deer." It's funny to see your own thoughts like that, lol. I might do more with at least 2 of these sketches at some point.
