bauerhockey: PK88: During Patrick’s second season, the Blackhawks hosted the 2009 Winter Classic at Wrigley field. In anticipation of the game, we teamed up with Patrick to design him a personal logo for his ONE95, which features his initials and number styled as “PK88”. It can be seen twice on this stick; once as a small gold symbol on the top of the shaft, and another as a grey design along the upper half of the stick.
— CANDY CANE: In the 2009 Winter Classic, his name bar displayed “Kandy Kane”, which was the inspiration for the candy cane styled stripe on the back of this stick. — CHICAGO: A three time Stanley Cup hero in Chicago, Patrick incorporated the city skyline which is displayed along the shaft in grey. — QUOTE: Along the middle of the shaft, surrounding the BAUER logo, reads the quote “A lion doesn’t concern himself with the opinion of sheep.” — WINTER CLASSIC LOGO: The winter classic logo is present on the bottom of the shaft, along with the location and date of the game. — SHAMROCK (not pictured): Paying homage to the site of the game, @NotreDame Stadium, Patrick wanted to incorporate the Shamrock. Not only does this design element tie back to Notre Dame’s “Fighting Irish” nickname, but it also represents Patrick’s heritage; he is of Irish decent. — SHOWTIME (not pictured): Patrick picked up this nickname after scoring an overtime goal against Minnesota in the 2014 playoffs. The cameras caught him yelling “SHOWTIME” at his teammates as he celebrated, and he has embraced the catch phrase ever since. It is featured on his name bar on this stick.
