Finally managed to finish part 1 of my super long overdue K Secret Santa fic for yatagarasuaesthetics! (Yes it is ONLY 6 months late. *covers face in shame*) It’s mostly gen, although since Christmas is the season of love and joy, and mistletoe is involved as per the title, be prepared for some smooching. :D

K Project Secret Santa Art Exchange 2018

Happy holidays everybody!!

Welcome to the first (at least I think) K project Secret Santa,

Secret Santa is a gift exchange game, art, fics and cosplay can gifted during this event

Applications open tomorrow by email, a requirement list for the email applications will be posted tomorrow

it’s just more easily organizable to send an email and so you can notified on any specific character/clan or trigger/ content preferences of the person you are making content for

I’ll explain this better in the application post tomorrow

Any criticisms concerns or questions can be personally sent or anon’d to me

Guidelines

Don’t tell anyone participating in this event who you are assigned to or gifting to

Be concious of the special requests, triggers or specific contents your receiver is sensitive to stated in the email you will receive.

Do not discriminate or persecute any person participating in this event including mods, other participants or the person you are assigned to

Please personally notify me if you intend to drop out, it must be sent at least 3 days before December 28th which is the deadline for creating your respective gift

You can create with any medium such as:

Digital art

Traditional art

Fanfic

Cosplay

Video edits or amvs

if there’s anything you would like to do that I haven’t listed send me an anon!!

Application period is from December 11th-December 15th,

emails will be sent on December 15th detailing the person you are gifting

I’ll post the application email and requirements tomorrow

December 16th to December 28th is when you can create your masterpiece! You can either post it on here on December 28th (tag it as #ksecretsanta) or you can privately send it to your assigned person

Applications for the k project secret Santa are now officially open!

Send an email to [email protected] with the filled in questions listed below

Please list Any possible triggers or sensitive content you wouldn’t feel comfortable seeing

The medium of art you be Creating in (ie. fic cosplay etc)

Favourite clan or character in k project

Whether or not you would want to be a pinch hitter ( in the event someone were to drop out someone would need to substitute and create a second gift after their other onefor whoever that person was assigned to) just answer yes or no to this question

Your preferred tumblr to use or be contacted with

Specify If you would only want to receive a specific medium or type of gift

Specify Any ships you or characters you are uncomfortable receiving content for

Send the email and you’re done!! Giftees will be chosen on December 15th and you’ll receive an email with your assigned person and their preferences which are what you have just filled out!

After the event is done anyone who didn’t receive a gift because their gifter dropped out or just didn’t receive a gift and everyone who signed up to be a pinch hitter on their application will be contacted separately to make sure that they can make a substitute gift/ receive a gift,

if no one drops out and everything works out smoothly pinch hitters will not be required to make a second gift

Applications close December 15th at 6:00 pm PST and emails should be sent soon after or could possibly be delayed until the next morning

Sorry I meant “shouldn’t”. Odd number of people don’t affect getting a match. (e.g 3ppl A>B, B>C, C>A). For preferences, i mean what requests people are matched with. E.g. Person A hates X and loves Y and gets a person who wants X. Person B loves X and hates Y gets a person who wants Y. Might be worth letting people put in match preferences? (With no guarantees, since it’ll depend on what’s avaliable). If there’s a lot of people it’ll be more troublesome to match but I’m happy to help if needed.

+ since the idea is that it’s mostly randomized it may be a solution to put on option on the application to only receive a specific medium or thing? And group specific people who want the same things together when matching?

+ it would be a big help!! It does seem like quite a lot of people want to apply already so it’s a little anxiety inducing (*¯ ³¯*)♡

If it’s okay, can you post roughly how many people are participating before applications end?

Yep! Since the promo was only posted a couple hours ago we don’t know how many people might join or not but it does seem like quite a lot of people are interested, we should have it posted around Friday when we have a clearer idea and by the time the last applications are rolling in~

Hey, for the secret Santa k project thing is gif edits or photo edits allowed?

Yep! I think I meant to group it together with video edits but any kind of edits are good!
