I can't wait for more Troll Ancestor exposition because WOW that grants insight into some SERIOUS extremely super duper FUCKED UP society.
I mean that's kind of unfair to say because look what humans do to each other. In fact, all human societies also have class systems and the lower you are the more chance of being offed or enslaved or exploited too so...
I mean generally it is thought that killing within the in-group is bad and we have a naturally/culturally produced general inclination towards not killing other people (within that group) I think. But Trolls seem to have a naturally/culturally produced general inclination towards killing other people because if you don't you get killed yourself because there's no 'group' that grants protection and support only an army and classes, so there's no use in anti-killing social rules. But also because apparently the Mother Grub produces absolutely enormous amounts of wrigglers that can easily be culled for weakness because there will be lots left over. (but really how did they develop stuff like...science in such a social environment?)
But DAMN I'm mostly like WAT because so much drama and slavery (and rape) and casual (mass) killing and betrayal

Vriska I like because she's pretty much a product of her society and has basically been a child-soldier all her life. And she STILL feels remorse over killing 'people that matter'. Even as she doesn't quite understand how she denies herself relationships by being 'crazy' or willing to kill even though she obviously WANTS positive connections with people. She has been conditioned to despise weakness, to exploit it, to eradicate it. This is why she tried to very clumsily and unsuccessfully toughen up soft Tavros because he was a friend and otherwise he'd die (but then she tried to kill him because she was manipulated and couldn't deal with the contrary 'kill weakness' but 'friend'.) It's weird because it's kind of like Vriska is simply more Troll than the rest. Probably because they haven't yet done the killing so much as she has. They were just getting to that stage in their development.

How is Feferi the next Empress but the sweetest kid? Maybe she'd kill out of necessity, the same way she'd feed those lusi to her monster knowing they came from killed/soon to be culled Trolls.
Question: How much do you (have to) really hate your Kismesis? Like I get the idea that you also kinda like em? But you also hate them? So you can't hate them super much? Like if they killed somebody you cared about that wouldn't be cool and you'd try to kill them. SO you kind of just be nasty to them and have rough sex (whatever that looks like for Trolls)? And try to thwart them in their exploits and one-up each other? So it's just literally a rivalry and annoyance, a little anger? You challenge each other.
