used to be ;; hyuksoo & soojung
{ @kssoojung }
a full week.
it had been a full week since his fight with soojung. and it has been a full week since he had been in a foul mood that not even the thought of his dogs made him feel any better. he’d stayed cooped up in the library or the radio club, skipping a few days of swimming practice, and refused to talk to anyone else. when he catches soojung in his dorm with c, the rebel leaves before he even gets a word out and pretends as if he didn’t exist.
and he could only take so much before he snapped.
he could admit that maybe he had taken it a bit too far the last time, pushing her to the edge much like she did to him. he had been jealous that she had taken interest in someone else and even if he knew he didn’t have the right to be jealous considering he didn’t even know where he stood with her, the green monster still appeared. the anger and jealousy he felt was different from the one he felt when ryosuke and yongjoon had gotten together; he had felt so utterly defeated this time. there was no use denying it: ji hyuksoo had feelings for jung soojung—feelings that went beyond friendship.
he had decided that morning that he was going to confront the rebel. they danced around this issue since they got into keisung and he knew if he didn’t talk to her—see her—any time soon, he was going to crack. so he was there, leaning against the wall beside the door of her classroom, waiting for the bell to ring. if he recalled correctly, soojung didn’t have any class after this and volleyball practice was cancelled that day. with the bell finally ringing, he waited for his childhood friend to appear.
his eyes softened when he saw her again, finally realising how much he actually missed her, before shaking his head and strode with a purpose. taking hold of her wrist before he could lose her, he put on the calmest facade he could give and with a soft voice, he asked, “can we talk?”
