I heard this song for the first time and it made me think of the ghosts, so here's the Captain to the first minute of The New Thing Dies by Ray Bull

Took a picture of the sky but it was all tiny and far away so I painted how it felt instead

I flicked through the other signed paintings to prove he wasn't defacing it, and he gave me a perfectly delicate little BenWoo signature 😄

Limited myself to 4 colours + white for this one and I really enjoyed the challenge of mixing the perfect shades! Turquoise, Indian Red, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Yellow, Chinese White

I also bought a new tiny tiny brush for the tiny tiny details which you might see if you zoom right in. Moles, eyes, eyelashes, meat?

And of course I couldn't have painted anything at all without an incredible reference photo

Just look at it for a while longer. Are you uncomfortable yet? I stared at this for approximately 10 hours. No regrets.
