Kugali just launched a kickstarter for their Augmented reality art book.This project mixes the innovative storytelling technology of Augmented Reality with the cultural diversity of Africa to explore some of the most important mythical figures and creatures from the continent. Após muita expectativa, a Disney finalmente liberou o primeiro pôster oficial de Iwájú, primeira colaboração da Disney com a pan-africana Kugali Media. Essa série é o primeiro projeto colaborativo da Disney com um estúdio externo em 100 anos.

Na prévia que foi revelada nós somos apresentos a Tola, uma garota que deseja explorar e conhecer mais do país em que cresceu, acompanhada de seu melhor amigo, Kole, e Oti, uma salamandra robótica criada por seu pai. A série se passa numa Nigéria futurista.

A série é comandada por Olufikayo Ziki Adeola, onde ele assina os roteiros ao lado de Halima Hudson.

Iwájú estreia no dia 28 de fevereiro.
