Was watching the scene where Beard dragged Jamie’s dad out the locker room, and I noticed some of the players were ready to throw down too. Like, they were ready to defend Jamie and probably punch his dad as well.
It was Kukoč who held Paul and Declan, and Jack also held Moe back so he wouldn’t kick James’ ass. I think others wanted to kick his ass too, but they were too tired, hurt, and upset (Dani was fuming), and I mean, what do you do if your friend’s father insults you - you’re in an awkward position.
Beard obviously roughed him up outside the locker room, which is why Beard got beaten by James and his cronies afterwards. I am sure Beard will never tell Jamie nor Ted nor Roy about the beating. If you watch the scene where James first came in, Beard was ready behind him (so was Thierry). Beard was ready for confrontation (which explained his behavior that night).
Kukoč, the smallest player of the bunch, grabbed his friends who were bigger than him so the situation wouldn’t escalate. I love him. Moe, who is also smaller than the freaking tall tree Jack, wanted to charge. He’s a warrior.
We didn’t see Roy, not until Jamie punched James. Because I bet if Roy wasn’t standing far away, he’d already head-butted the guy.
I love these guys. This show is so great. I mean, I paid attention more to the guys in the background - because they act so natural and not at all being extra. They are close in real life, so I guess that’s why their performance is so genuine.
