Short film Coldness(Kulde) is screening in competition in Tromsø at NUFF - Nordisk Ungdom Film Festival. It is part of the Program 1 :CARRIED AWAY(24th October, 16h).

NUFF is film competitions for short films made in the last two years (with a max length of 20 minutes) by filmmakers up to 30 years old. 22nd edition of the festival will be held from October 24th to 26th 2024. All NUFF events have free entrance!

Together with 4 other movies short film Kulde(Coldness) will be part of SNEAKBAR med Aarhus Filmværksted #15. The event will take place in an art cinema Øst for Paradis on September 26 at 20.00 in Aarhus, Denmark.

The event is free, but requires reservation (DKK 5 reservation fee)

Short film Kulde(Coldness) will be shown at the second edition of International Short Film Festival Beneath The River Danube, which will be held on 1st June 2024, in Belgrade (Serbia). It will compete in "Chronicles of Existence" category.

The Beneath The River Danube is a live screening event occurring in Dom ¬kulture, Belgrade. It is a not-for-profit biannual Indie Film Festival based in Serbia with a mission to find young, unrecognized, unexceptional & underdog artists, and enable them show their talent and work to the world.

Coldness – Alfred Rubin (Denmark) Set in Gothenburg’s first snow, ‘Coldness’ depicts the chilling distance among citizens and their city, as well as between individuals — a lone bassist, a distant harmonicist, dancing lovers by a frozen river, and a girl finding onions on her way home. Narrated by Tarjei Sandvik Moe and Isabella Ølshøj, the film immerses us in the frigid embrace of a Swedish winter. Through glimpses of the characters, we examine their feelings of cold. A bassist plays alone in the street and is answered by a harmonicist from across town, two lovers dance by the frozen river and a girl stumble upon a bunch of onions on her way home.

Coldness( Kulde), short film directed by Alfred Rubin and narrated by Tarjei, will be part of 20th edition of FEST- New Directors New Films Festival in Espinho, Portugal. FEST’s 20th edition will be held from the 24th of June to the 1st of July 2024.

Coldness will be competing in Silver Lynx Experimental Competition together with 9 other movies. The Silver Lynx Competition is a short film competition that attempts to provide a launch board for new filmmakers, covering four different formats: Fiction, Documentary, Animation and Experimental Cinema.
