लगभग 200 साल पहले, यह गाँव पालीवाल ब्राह्मणों का निवास स्थान था। पालीवाल ब्राह्मण, जो अपनी उन्नत कृषि और जल प्रबंधन तकनीकों के लिए प्रसिद्ध थे, यहाँ बसते थे। कहा जाता है कि किसी समय यह गाँव समृद्धि और व्यापार का केंद्र था। इतिहासकारों और स्थानीय कथाओं के अनुसार, गाँव को अचानक छोड़ दिया गया था। इसके पीछे मुख्य कारण एक शक्तिशाली शासक द्वारा किए गए अत्याचार को माना जाता है। कहा जाता है कि एक स्थानीय जागीरदार की नजर गाँव की एक ब्राह्मण कन्या पर थी, और उसने जबरन विवाह का प्रस्ताव रखा। लेकिन पालीवाल ब्राह्मणों ने इसे अपनी अस्मिता पर आघात मानते हुए, एक ही रात में पूरे गाँव को खाली कर दिया।
