The First of Many
Tagaytay Adventure!
Without a booked hotel and a proper itinerary, Kuleet and I packed our backpacks and headed to Tagaytay to spend half of the long weekend.
Leaving Makati at around 4pm and encountering traffic along the way, we reached the tourist destination at 8:30pm.
We had our late dinner at the first restaurant we chanced upon. Kaye Ryan Grill serves a heavenly pinakbet, the most delicious I've tasted so far.
With the help of the locals, we finally found a place to stay in. A cute villa called Fernandina. (Next-morning-shot)
Breakfast: RSM Lutong Bahay. We settled with a classic breakfast, tapsilog and tocilog with hot brewed coffee. After a hearty meal, we're ready for our Sunday exploration.

Short visit to Maryridge to buy Good Shepherd's famous ube jam.
Lunch: Leslie's. Because we're both "sinigang-people", we ordered pork sinigang instead of bulalo, and also a plate of pinakbet (guess we subconsciously wanted to compare the pinakbets in tagaytay :D). A tah-dah moment: The food we ordered can feed 5 hungry people! Veggie overload!
Chill before going home: Filibeans, a cozy coffee shop overlooking the lake and Taal volcano. A good cup of coffee , nice view , and relaxing moment spent with a loved one --> perfect way to end the Tagaytay day. 'Til next time!
