Kumir is DESIGNED!

Kumir works as a restoration specialist in Prosvetleniye for the relics wing, his specialization being in carefully piecing together any artifacts the recollection team brings in and bringing them back to their original glow to the best of his ability. While Zakat is the overseer to their department, Kumir is just meticulous and high-strung enough that Kumir is largely left to his own discretion while working while Zakat makes a wide berth. Zakat is too much one for conversation, and when Kumir focuses on a task, he can only stand absolute quiet. Outside of work hours, however, he is helpless to stop his superior's enthusiastic socialization.

Most of the clan is more interested in books over relics, and immediately grow bored if Kumir gets too excited about talking about whatever he was currently working on. Unable to be fettered with their opinions, Kumir is convinced that he does some of the most important work in the clan, seeing as artifacts are the immediate visual representation of the last age, and lets them know as much. His pride doesn't only extend to his work, self assured in all he does. He talks easily with most of the clans members when he keeps his sarcasm in check- sometimes they say things too stupid for him not to point out.

Kumir had come to Prosvetleniye with Bogiiniya originally, having met her on one of her many excursions to the city to sell the clan's wares. He had traveled to the Light territories to learn more about the world, and it had merely been the first place on his escape from his Viridian home. It wasn't as if he hated his Nature roots, he simply hadn't a green thumb, and wasn't about to get stuck doing menial labor outside when there was a world past their gardens that far better matched his flashy tastes. So, when he was wandering the marketplace and came upon a stand of oddities and scrolls on the history of the world, he forced Bogiiniya to tell him all about it. He found out much later that she made up most of what she told him- it wasn't like she was interested in memorizing the story of every bauble he demanded the past of. After she had enough of his enthusiasm, she asked if he'd like to visit their clan's library, since there was so much more content than the odds and ends she'd smuggled here. Exuberant, he agreed and soon enough found him offered a position in their clan.

He and Bogiiniya remain close friends, and she is the first to know when the recollection team brought home something from this era and not the last. In turn, she ensures him a steady supply of silks and jewelry. Because of this, clans members have often mistaken the two for a couple but upon asking, only receive laughter from both of them.
