Rose: what makes you feel beautiful?

That moment when I look at myself in the mirror and I see more of the person I want to become than the person I keep on running away from. When someone whose opinions I value recognize the efforts I’ve been exerting to be a better version of myself. When I am complimented not for the way I look or how I did my makeup (because these things are easily manipulated) but for the way I carry myself and the aura I radiate. How it means that I am succeeding to change something deep within my personality, not just what is seen. When I feel confident about the space I am occupying instead of shrinking myself into a dark corner ( I am still working on this one but I am getting there).

Kiss: what do you want from life right now?

All I want is to wake up without worrying about when my next breakdown will be. To enjoy happiness as it is instead of holding it like a ticking time bomb that will explode soon. To have the courage to face what lies ahead instead of having the desire of disappearing. To make my family proud of who I am. To live each moment without thinking the past is better. To finally achieve that so-called peace of mind.

Minsan, may mga bagay tayong kailangang isuko. Hindi dahil sawa na tayo dun o kaya naman ay wala na iyong halaga sa atin. Kundi dahil alam nating, kahit anong gawin natin, wala naring mangyayari. Dahil kahit anong gawin natin, di na natin maibabalik ang dati. At mas makakabuti pa kung sa iba na mapupunta iyon.. kahit mahirap..kahit masakit.
