I was/probably still am vocaloid trash too haha. Do you have a favorite producer? The MV for Living Death Youth and Wooden Doll totally reminds me of PJ's videos too. All of his songs are soo catchyy esp Donut Hole though Vivi and Eine Kleine are so pretty. Tamako Market is actually one of my favorite animes of all time it's adorable. If you remove Tamako's twintails it's basically Phil haha. But a fanfic with Phil as Tamako and Dan as Mochizou would be the cutest thing everr

yesss, i love kenshi yonezu/hachi-p’s work. tbh, i’m was huge vocaloid trash. im kinda sad that he didn’t do any vocaloid music anymore,, but he still make great music by his own so i guess thats good. kousei from your lie in april kind of looks like phil uh im reading this book series called Gone and theres a character named phil so i always picture him as phil idk if that countsngl sometimes i compare oikawa and kageyama to dan and phil idk whyomfg mulder and scully from xfiles definitely strike me as two characters that dan and phil could relate to i love the xfiles holy shit such a good show uh theres probably way more but my brain doesnt like to work

I'm currently reading SMS and realized that its the longest phanfic on AO3 and then I looked at the Kudos, hits ,etc and I was really confused over why it wasn't more popular considering its a complete super long emotional roller coaster of yes. And then I realized that I had been reading all the romaji Japanese parts without needing to google translate at all (yay for 6 years Japanese in school) and just reading it naturally. I'm so glad that you didn't use a ton of kanji cuz この話が大好きです. ありがとう！

omf. i just checked and it actually is the longest one. well crap. i actually just figured out last night that if it were bound in book form it would be more than 600 pages long. heh. i published it here first, so that’s why it hasn’t gotten much activity on ao3, i think. (also i back-dated it before posting it on ao3, which was probably a bad plan. oh well.)

but yeah! that’s great that you’re able to understand the japanese. go you! i decided to write in romaji instead of kana/kanji (mostly) because it’s supposed to simulate dan’s experience of japanese -- he’s hearing sounds rather than seeing characters written on a page. that’s why you’ll really only see kanji in the story if dan is reading something. 大好きだと言われて、すごくうれしいですよ！読んでくれてありがとうございます！
