After a forced break of three years, we are happy to finally be able to organize an evening with Kurt and Schorsch again. Our guest from Brooklyn is Kurt Waters and his husband George Karabotsos. In his luggage, Kurt Walters brings new works from his series "Bavarian Lakes" and "Desserts from all over the world" as well as individual pieces. Of course, the Bavarian lakes are not landscapes, with deer in the foreground and mountains in the background, and the desserts are not recipe illustrations, both serve as a backdrop or staffage for "grown man pictures", staged lovingly and with a love of detail. . . Kurt Walters is German-American with roots specifically in Munich, which is why his German is colored Bavarian. According to his own statements, he is a passionate New Yorker, but he is vehemently drawn to Munich. The evening will take place on January 21st from 6pm to 9pm.
