“Thank you, Hiei.”
He paused for a moment. “Just make him happy,” he said. “Kurama is insufferable when he’s moping.”
“I will,” you said. “I know the both of you are close friends. He trusts you. Will you be participating in the tournament?”
He nodded.
“I was wondering if you might train with me? Any exposure that Nairu and I get before then will be helpful to us. I’m pretty new to this whole fighting thing.”
“It seems you’re insufferable, too, when desperate.”
