@weeklymagmas had a D&D drawing session this weekend! It was the perfect time to draw my Flowers of Hamato AU, which was inspired by the theme (thank you weekly magma theme wheel).
My first piece was the very first thought I had for the theme - Lee meeting his cousins in a tavern while they're out adventuring, including some D&D party shenanigans.
After that I decided to do a little backstory for Leon. When he was about 4, the Foot attacked their family home and Lee saved him before going back inside for their younger cousins. This was the start of Leon idolizing Lee.
Mikal is The Last Ronin, who was reunited with the rest of the Hamato only a couple years before the attack above after believing himself the last Hamato alive for years. His grandfather left the clan as a teenager and Splinter barely knew about the rest of the Hamato, leading Mikal and his brothers to believe they were the last of the Hamato until after the events of The Last Ronin and the mutation of the second generation.
2003 Leo completely forgot to tell his adventuring buddy Usagi that his clan is kind of famous. And so is he. Whoops.
2003 Leo is in the center holding tot Rise Raph, with Bayverse Leo on the left with the scar, then IDW Leo with the sash over the left shoulder, 2007 Leo smiling in the back row, and 2012 Lee in the kimono. The Bellflowers are the heirs to each branch of the clan, named for the mark of the Hamato that they each bear. The painting is redone whenever a new Bellflower is marked.
Lee had to roll some death saving throws when Shredder got him, but Donnie managed to pull him back to the land of the living just in the nick of time.
IDW Raph is a ranger, and Entanglement is one of his 1st Level spells. The sickle is a nod to the farmer background, since he mentioned in the comics that he secretly wanted to be a farmer.
