i think the genius of the Tenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is that the basic premise is so naturally insane, you can just kind of do anything with it. Nothing feels out of place because honestly, what is "normal" for the TMNT? gritty and dark stories about a battle ofninjas? sure. A show that focus on them being teens and their relationship drama? yeah that works. A "monster of the week" style show with them all being goofballs?you know what sure. Space alternate dimensions adventures where they battle world conquerors? yeah i get it. Nothing is the limit for TMNT because they already broke the limit at the base idea.

I loved this part of the comic, because Leo shouldn't defeat Dark Leo but rather become him, since they were always the same person even though Leo denied it until Saki made him see it.
