hero x maou (demon lord) chrissell AU!!

an AU loosely based around the 'standard japanese fantasy setting' (as tv tropes describes it), but with some twists here and there as there usually are nowadays 💪

chris is the hero on a journey to save the princess (gardenia) who was kidnapped by russell, the demon king!! only, russell winds up dragged into chris' party himself while disguised as a human, and romance develops!!

i first conceptualized russell with a few sketches a while back, but i FINALLY managed a design for chris too

bonus:
