Back in July we were looking at building a house on our nice Kellyville land. After spending a few more dollars than we thought we would, we started looking at houses that were on the cheaper side of things.
We looked around a little bit, through Homeworld, websites etc. and we couldn't really find something we liked. We first were looking at single story houses but we didn't like the master bedroom at the front away from kid’s rooms, also just layouts weren't exactly what we wanted. We did find one house we did love from Alkira Homes - The Georgia. We loved the high ceilings, the master bedroom in the middle of the house; the kids play area, and just the angles of the walls. We sat down with Alkira, and found out that our 600m2 land couldn't fit the house with the council requirements. So back to the drawing board! Looking around again we couldn't find a single story house that had all we wanted, which got us looking at double story houses.
The only layout we really liked was one by Kurmond Homes - The Glenleigh but we really wanted to check it out instead of just buying off the plan and found that there was one being built and finished in Homeworld Kellyville first week of September.
September came and we loved the house! The layout was great, the finishing’s were great, the inclusions were amazing! Most of all prices were in our ballpark, so we expressed interest and allowed the process to begin.
