so anyway~ Emily has a fondness for Doll it seems?
sorry for the handwriting, I have no idea who which snakes are(sorry snakes), but I'm assuming due to the placement of the speech bubble and the snake, that that one is Emily. and so the snake reaching out for Doll is also Emily. Emily also is defending Doll and saying they can trust her. what's up Emily? girl v girl solidarity?
as long as Emily doesn't betray the rest of the snakes cjsjdks, I think we'll be fine...
cause the other snakes definetly seem to be protective of Ciel, thank goodness. other than that though, I'm really enthused to see what the dialogue between snake and the snakes looks like :D I think a big theory before is that snake just talked through the snakes as himself, and DID is still a possibility. though to me atleast it appears much more clearly that snake and the snakes are having an actual mental conversation- how, dunno, does it matter. the screenshot before this one shows the internal monologue more clearly, which is more interesting to me. does snake see himself as the snakes talking to him? are they all biologically linked? or is this only artistic? does snake know what space looks like?

I definetly forgot, so can someone please remind me of the hard evidence we have the Doll certainly died?😅 I looked back through chapter 36 where we last saw her, candy falling and fade to black, all that. what I was looking for though was the reapers taking her cinematic record, and I didn't find it. I finished the arc, not there. is it later in the manga? or did it never happen.
I'm just wondering what the chances are that Ciel pitied her enough to let her go with a warning/threat.
the first conclusion would be that doll's story is only a fragment of the truth, but idk, I think that a lot of people were expecting this chapter to cover her death in more detail- as was I. so for us to not even see her go down at sebastian's hand, even when it's seen through her perspective this time, feels odd to me. I get it if yana is saving it for later... please help me I'm doubting myself ;;v;;
