Swords | Dante & Kuroh

Dante stretched his arms above his head as he stood from his desk, having just squared away the last of the day’s paperwork. While he wasn’t really the teaching type, this seemed to be the best way to pass the time. Sure, it wasn’t as exciting or fun as it was back in his own home world, hunting demons, but it sure as hell beat sitting in his room with nothing to do.
After a moment of consideration, Dante decided that he should keep his swordsmanship sharp. He didn’t intend on staying in this world forever, after all. Granted, he wasn’t in a bug rush to leave the place, either. The... newness of the situation kept his interest well enough.
As Dante approached the training grounds, he was almost surprised to see someone else there already. Almost.
Dante didn’t reach for Rebellion right away. Instead, he leaned against the wall, observing the kid for a little bit. He seemed like a student and his way with the katana he was wielding showed no signs that he was an amateur. It almost reminded Dante of his brother, in a way.
“Hey, you’re pretty good with that sword,” he complimented, pushing himself from the wall to stride across the grounds. “How long have you been practicing?”
