‘ I would be so tempted just to stay there for days, ’ he murmured. ‘ You wouldn’t be able to move from under me. But, y’know, a nap sounds good. Let’s get some blankets and take a nap together, hmm ? ’

Tsukishima had been sleeping for most of the way to Tokyo. They’d gotten an early start and the ride was long, it wasn’t surprising that he and most of the team had fallen asleep. Although it probably helped that Hinata and Kageyama weren’t riding with them - they could be loud and annoying no matter the situation.
All the same, it seemed like he’d only just closed his eyes when the bus rolled to a stop in front of the large sports complex. Ukai yelled for everyone to get off, and he yawned and rubbed his eyes as he and Yamaguchi were herded outside by a persistent Nishinoya.
Unsurprisingly, most of Nekoma was there to greet them. Including their messy-haired captain, who looked the exact opposite of how Tsukishima felt: awake and energetic. They locked eyes for a moment and Tsukishima nodded in acknowledgement before the rest of the team lead them to their room.

Truth be told, it started on a whim. Bokuto had never been one to sit idle for long- too much time ensures that his over-active imagination was given free reign to roam. The more he thinks, the more restless he becomes. It is on this one particular night that the leftover tension he’d been building up spills and he’s whining in complaint, lying back against the ground with a petulant expression. “Bro- I’m bored. Don’t get me wrong, I love spending time with our teams and practising and shit but there’s literally nothing to do round this time. They won’t even let us use the gym after ten and I’m reeeally bored. You wanna like...dunno...go do stuff?”
