They make me go awlidjwaldjaldiwj.(Spoilers for the lives lmao) I think what's so great about them is even with as little content and snippets of history we get to know about them, how greatly they mean to each other and how intertwined their lives are is so clearly communicated. Like so much of how they act in the lives relates to the past they shared e.g. Live 1 Souda telling Karen she'll have to shine alone because she lost both her Claires, or asking Hikari if she's going to run away (Like Yakumo/herself had). Yakumo being stunned at Karen's non-tradegy Starlight in the Live 2 etc. And it's great that they manage to move past their compleeeete lack of communication and misunderstandings from their youth and then work together to prevent the seiran kiddies from doing the same as them in blue glitter c: . Plus their parallels as the tragic Flora & Claire to Hikaren are icing on the cake that adds a lot to both of their relationships, showing the tradegy of Starlight, and the theme of loops. Also also their mutual respect and affection for each other post Live 2 is just good shit. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk, I'm love them.
Oooooh yesss extremely fun pairing, they would bicker so hard and would somehow have even more divorce arcs then futakao and I love this for them. They can learn a lot from each other too I think, growing up with very different theatrical backgrounds. Also they would enable each other to be massive little shits to everyone as they should. It's a shame they dont get more interactions other than kaoruko's somewhat dislike of her because of her being buddies with futaba? (Wouldn't be shocked if there's stuff from relive I havent seen of them)
