Truthfully, I've taken long pauses from Tumblr in general. Busy with work and life, and trying to focus on myself. I don't have a lot of time to keep up with a lot of current events like I had in the past. I don't think it's best to form strong opinions on matters and debate them if I'm not well informed as it is.

I do have a book blog for my bookish thoughts and aesthetic posting, though. It's a bit slow, but definitely far more active than this blog. For obvious reasons, I'm keeping it under wraps. I don't mind handing it out directly to certain folks, though!

Riverdale at least seamed good at first before turning to complete trash after season 1. Sabrina was at least based on a horror version before turning into riverdale trash starting partway into part 2. Katy keene was surprisingly normal and decent. This Powerpuff girl thjngs is an abomination though. Half the fun of the series was the art style and the girls themselves aren't even supposed to look like a normal person

A friend of mine opined the dreadful possibility of the show pulling an Alita and giving them unnaturally big eyes in order to justify them still being called bug-eyed, and the terrifying part? Is that at this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if they DID go that route. 

But yeah, it’s just... sounds awful. What more can I say?

Remember when years after it was over,, one of the writers for Scooby-Doo Doo Mystery Inc decided to announce he always planned on Velma being a Lesbian despite her dating Shaggy in their canon? Cause I do. Feels like we're doing take two of that

Both as someone who writes and enjoys media, I don't believe in "this character was always X" despite it never being portrayed in the media they're in. It's lazy and is typically done to keep the attention and focus on their content. They don't do it because they actually care about the story. If they cared, then they would have made the character what they claimed.

Please leave canon characters alone. If you want to add in this stuff you claim, then take it as a chance to build on your universe. Nobody would object to expansions, so long as done right.

They're doing a Scooby-Doo and courage the cowardly dog crossover. This could actually be fun. I say knowing that any time an old series is brought back it tends to be ruined.

My friend told me about this. I'm extremely hesitant after all recent reboots of older franchises. It is in the more classic Scooby Doo art style, which I appreciate. I believe most of us fans prefer this art style over other takes. I am intrigued on Courage being brought to the SD universe, even for just a crossover. He looked pretty adorable in this style at least. I couldn't get all of the trailer to load for me, but I really hope I get to see Eustace interact with the Gang. He's my favorite character from Courage! He's pretty funny at times, even though he doesn't really try to be.

Like with all new releases as of the last few years, I'll be waiting to see how this plays out before investing money into it. Hopefully this pans out as it does make me feel very nostalgic for my childhood from just the concept alone. Both are shows I greatly obsessed over as a child.

I love when homophobes and transphobes start quoting the Bible like ot justifies their hatred. Like Jesus died for all our sins. Ones not worse then then the other. If me being me is a sin, I have faith that I'm forgiven. Ive been told in not a real Christian and real Christians can't be gay or trans. Thats just hypocrisy and bs. Jesus went to everyone and associated with outcasts and those who were different.

I strongly believe that me trying to make the most out of my life and be happy is glorifying God far more then me hating myself and wishing I was dead. I grew up going to a private school that filled me with fear. I know the Bible and its not the Bible that hates lgbt people. Its some of the people who teach it. And some of the people who will take anything they can to justify their hate.

If I remember correctly, it is not for us to judge the sins of others. That is up to God to do so. To us, an individual sin is weighed equally. If all you have done is loved someone of the same sex, then how are you worse than someone who has sinned much more than you?

I'm really glad to know so many people enjoy my blog! When I first started this, I never expected to receive such wonderful support from so many different people.

I am similar to you, though! I am rather slow with getting back to people. Nothing ever personal, there's just a good amount to sort through when I am online. As of right now, I have over 100 notifications I have to sort through on Discord. Which will most likely eat up my whole afternoon 😔
