I first saw Inazuma Eleven on public TV during summer vacations. It was the season were the protagonists played against the Argentinian team.

♫ Mi país, mi país ♫

This year i rewatched Inazuma from the very start on Amazon Prime. When Kazemaru appeared i thought he was a girl. That's because of his long hair, voice actress and his concern whenever Endou was hurt during a match.

I know Kazemaru is not related to trainer Hitomiko. But because of her personality she seemed like the best option XD

Something similar happened to me with Pokemon Journeys. When it was announced that Goh was going to be the co-protagonist, my sisters and I all thought he was a cute girl. Later it was clear he was a boy and he had a male voice actor in all the dubs.
