I’ve been trying to keep a lid on all of the kuusuke/kusuo but I have. So much fucking unfinished fic for them. smut, lighthearted shit, character studies, you name it. I have long ass essay length ramblings about them. If I were suddenly die and my family found all of this, they would think I am patently insane. the saiki brothers are a fixation. they make me think of me and someone I used to know and they’re totally different. they’re the dynamic of every couple dynamic that has ever been modeled for me as a child. they are siblings and they don’t know each other at all. they are so gay coded it’s insane and yes, I am also insane. They are opposites and they don’t hate each other at all. I believe I am quite literally running a fever right now so I will blame everything I say on that

Idk if you still do kusucest content but!! ......did you ever notice that whenever Kusuo turns into Kuriko, Kuriko looks VERY VERY similar to Kusuke?

I hope I am not reaching. Just look at manga panels/anime side by side and PLEASE you don't see a difference except hair color 🥹🥹 (especially if you give Kusuke glasses)

Ohhhhh hoho I am having no normal thoughts about this.

Kusuo and Kusuke look quite different as far as brothers go, kusuo looking like the split image of their father and kusuke looking more similar to their mother. That paired with the hair difference and general personalities, most people who see them together don't immediately jump to the conclusion that they're related.

But Kuriko? Her lighter hair and softer style matches Kusuke better, highlighting their similarities more than ever before. And kusuke? He can't get enough of it. He can tell when people see them that they know they're siblings. No more having to make a point of telling people, they're know. She is HIS sister.

His claim and bond to her is so much more obvious than normal. He gets to show of his little sister to the world... and watch Kuriko squirm when he leans in close, knowing she can hear people around them thinking how weirdly close and intimate those siblings are.

And of course he teases her about wanting to look more like her amazing big brother.

Alternate universe Kusuke is so sad to think about. His baby brother, and greatest obsession died 3 years ago. He spent that time trying to find a way to bring him back and inadvertently caused WWIII.

His brother then showed up, only to be a different version from a different timeline. Who cares tho! His baby brother is back! And wants his help and invention to get back to his own time... to his own Kusuke...

And well he can't say no to his baby brother. Even if it means crushing that tiny bit of hope he had for a second. And going back to being alone.

Imagine all the pain and grief that must have gone through his head at seeing Kusuo again. And he wasn't wearing a telepathy blocker. Kusuo heard it all. Imagine the guilt he must have felt, leaving his brother like that.

Thinking about how weak and pathetic Kusuo is without his powers. How strong Kusuke must be to work with heavy machinery and to even attempt to keep up with Kusuo at his best. How when Kusuo loses his powers Kusuke is still just as strong, now able to pick up and play with his brother with ease...

Kusuo allows Kusuke to do things to him sometimes. It's easier than saying no. He knows what Kusuke wants and well... he knows what he wants in return every time he fixes his limiter or helps with his powers.

Kusuo, who can't be into it even he wanted to. Kusuke can be as rough and desperate as he wants cause Kusuo can barely feel it. He doesn't expect anything in return from Kusuo. He knows he's not into him. And it would probably kill him if Kusuo so much as lets his hips twitch in response.

Kusuo who agrees cause even if he's just lying there and taking it, knows he's the one who can stop it. He's stronger and in control of the situation. He can make Kusuke stop if he really wants.

So when Kusuke has one final request for what may be his last big favour to his little brother, the answer may as well be yes. Anything to get rid of his powers and get his hands on that little device.

But Kusuke just hands the device over, asks for his payment at a later date... once it's been used and his powers are gone.

Kusuo is a man of his word, and he's used to relationships being transactional. It's only fair he agrees after his big brother went through all this effort for him.

This time is different, though. This time Kusuo won't be in control, he'll be weak. He'll be scared. And he'll actually be able to feel it... and react. The thought should be enough for him to refuse, to be terrified of what his sadistic brother will do with him in this state.

But he's excited. To feel, to know what it actually feels like. To be able to react... he knows Kusuke won't actually kill him. Or so he hopes. He's in mostly safe hands to be able to feel the roughness and inevitable pain at the hands of his less than caring brother. He's never really felt pain before.

He's never let himself feel pleasure either. He knows their bodies fit together perfectly. Maybe they were made for this. And so as he places the peculiar device into his head... he finds he's excited to see what a regular human can take against a man like Kusuke.
