I just realized that from Kuuk's perspective, North of North is a Hallmark movie. Big city boy goes to a small rural town with a vague family connection and meets a sweet, spunky hometown girl who enlists his help in trying to Save The Community, and eventually he decides to stay because he's fallen in love with Siaja Ice Cove.

Me, watching North of North: This is so wonderful and funny, definitely a comfort show.
Also me: If Kuuk and Siaja aren't endgame, I'm gonna set something on fire.
North of North is a WONDERFUL show. I have a crush on Siaja but also she is me and I am her. I have no purpose in life and a weekend binge just sent me into existential dread. But I still HIGHLY recommend.
