Imagine: Ghost!Kuu and Ghost!Misaki running into each other in the museum area. They try to avoid talking about how they feel like failures but end up crying and comforting each other about this whole awful mess instead. After a while they look over their museum exhibits in hopes of piecing together their lost memories when they happen upon the engagement ring. Now imagine them looking at each other for a long time after Misaki lets Kuu put the ring on her finger again.
They cry again. But for a different reason. Even a mind wipe couldn't keep them apart.
