PERSONALITY:
Appearing to most as a friendly, laid back, amiable, and boisterous guy, he hides a sly, scheming, and borderline manipulative side that he developed during his years of strife. He cares deeply for Rakurai and will do anything and everything to stay by his side. He is easy going and seeks fun everywhere, usually dragging his friends along with him to try out new things. His unassuming demeanor allows him to get close to many people but never truly be part of a single circle. When irked however, he is an unnerving presence. Kuva is fully capable of orchestrating full scenarios by predicting people's behavior and setting them up accordingly.
MODERN AU TIMELINE:
born in Yokohama. Mother: Himari, works as a salesclerk.
Age 3: grew up there for a while, and his younger brother, Tatsuno was born.
Age 7: Father left without warning. Implied that the father was cheating, and has incurred debt.
Age 8: befriended the new classmate of the elementary class, Rakurai, sensing that they were both from a troubled family situation. Became inseparable, and Kuva cherished the little solace of this friendship.
Age 10: Debt collectors stormed their house when they were away. Fearing for their lives, the mother abruptly pulled them away from school and moved to a different city.
Age 11-14: They moved around a bit more. Two cities and a few areas within them. Held back by a year.
Age 14-18: After much persuasion, Himari finally moved her family to the countryside with her grandparents.
Age 19: Returns to Yokohama for college, much to the dismay of his mother. Meets Rakurai again, after years of radio silence. The relationship was strained, and Kuva was not the best at communicating what had happened, playing it off too lightly that it pissed off Rakurai, who was trying to be patient with him.
(COLLEGE YEARS) Lives in a shared apartment with his Akasa, a 2nd year who goes to the same school. Tatsuno later shares the apartment too.
Has a pet dog named (Sir) Waffles, a Pomeranian. Waffles got sick in Kuva's 4th year of college and later on passed away. Kuva later on adopted a dameranian (Dachsund/Pomeranian mix) named Toffee.
Majors in Forensic Science.
Part of a band: Lock!!On (with Rakurai and Zevy)
Very much enjoyed his time pursuing the same interests (music) as Rakurai.
Part time job in a CD store. Very friendly with the owner. Got tons of connection in there.
Above average grades. Excels at anthropology and toxicology. Likes to sit in random classes if he's not noticed. Memorized Raku's schedule so he could drop by. FUTURE TIMELINE:
Works as a forensic scientist.
Works in the same lab sector that Rakurai is acquainted with. Rakurai's personal call whenever he needs opinion on cases
Youngest in the lab. Social butterfly. Chief likes him but wonders why everyone is seemingly unnerved by him.
Very good eye for scene analysis (jokingly says it's because of his farsightedness) and is quick with reenacting possible scenarios. Unfortunately this makes him prone to missing small details that his colleagues have to pick up on. Distasteful dark humour.
Surprisingly athletic. Trains with Rakurai during Saturdays while they're catching up.
Unfortunately gets himself involved in cases Rakurai is handling. Like. Physically there. Just because.
