So, this event truly came at the worst possible time for me. I just had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and had to go out of my way not to smile/laugh for several weeks, plus I was in the midst of Event-Planning Hell. I ended up reading through all of the event [at the last minute] in one day, so there was no time for my thoughts to marinate and cook up anything too engaging to talk about.

And that's my excuse for basically only talking about Kuya here!

Sure sure, Blade was cute as hell---and it was nice to see him getting the recognition he deserves, being chosen to be a Gemstone Envoy (even tho that was when Morphy was in Corruption Mode). It was also cute as hell for Garu to join in on the fun, getting his own costume too.

But I think we can all agree that Kuya was the biggest standout character this time! As much as I'm fucking tired of hearing him give his whole "emotions are fleeting, everything is meaningless, humans are stupid, blah blah blah" spiel, I think he made up for it with all of his fun moments.

It was great seeing him get irritated at all the silly catchphrases (#OldManDoesntUnderstandYoungsters vibes), and delightful seeing him humor Garu by giving him a "magical transformation" so he wouldn't feel left out.

All in all, while the bar is in Hell, I'd say Kuya was pretty okay this event! ✨✨✨✨✨

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY----THE KUYORB.

💖 Words cannot express how happy I am that Kuyorb has been officially acknowledged in the canon. 💖

Yes, he showed up in Sleepless Fun Fair, but he was never addressed (kinda like the random-ass birb Eiden had in Circus of Eccentricities). I thought he would just be treated like an accessory or Easter Egg for the fans.

BUT HE'S BEEN MADE OFFICIAL!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I heard that, in Kuya's intimacy rooms, Kuya says the little creature was, like, born from his breath + essence or something???? and now it follows him around sometimes.

So, canonically, Kuyorb is basically Kuya's Bastard Suprise! Son, and I think that changes everything.

Personally, I always saw the Kuyorb as just the meme-sona of Kuya himself. But if it's actually Kuya Jr., then it changes how I will mentally interact with the Kuyorb..... That is to say, I'm much less inclined to wish torment upon the lil' guy. He seems like a chill, good-natured troll.

Especially since he saved the day, helping Eiden and Blade out with that incantation!!!!! (Smart baby!!!!)

AND THAT LITTLE "CHOO-CHOO" FOX SQUEAK!!!!!!!

Now, I just sincerely hope the writers don't make him worse and worse, making me genuinely dislike him, like they did with Kuya.
