Kvlt Metal Yoga Tomorrow w/ Alex Barnett Drone Bath!

SATURDAY, SEP 20, 2014 André Foisy’s (LOCRIAN): Kvlt Metal Yoga with Live Drone Bath By Alex Barnett Turbodog Yoga, Chicago, IL Yoga from 8:30PM - 10PM. Alex Barnett's Drone Bath 10-10:30PM. Spend an evening listening to meditative metal music and practicing yoga by candlelight in a class led by musician and Turbodog Yoga instructor André Foisy. Alix Foisy and Ana Doherty, both certified yoga instructors, will be assisting students throughout the class. This class is intended for those new to yoga as well as experienced yogis. After practicing the asanas, or physical yoga poses, attendees will rest in corpse pose while listening to a dark synthesizer based drone bath performed by Alex Barnett. Barnett is a founding member of Oakeater and has collaborated with Faith Coloccia, Mamiffer and Locrian.

Dress in comfortable clothes and feel free to bring blankets and pillows if you wish.

It’s suggested that you sign up for the class in advance.

Kvlt Metal Yoga Event with Live Drone Bath by Insect Ark

When: Saturday, August 2nd Where: Turbodog Yoga, 800 W. Huron [a five minute walk from the Chicago Avenue Blue Line Stop] What time: Class Begins at 8:30pm; Insect Ark’s drone bath will begin at approximately 10:00pm and last until approximately 10:30pm Cost: $16 [for drop in class] Or $20 for the New Student Offer [10 days of unlimited yoga for anyone who has never been to the studio before] Spend an evening listening to meditative metal music and practicing yoga by candlelight in a class led by musician and Turbodog Yoga instructor André Foisy.
