…in which chanyeol and jongin have a game night.
☼⁶¹ —whoever thought that the two of them playing monopoly was a good idea, they were completely wrong. but of course, it was all chanyeol’s idea. all the other members are doing something else, either with each other or on their own, and chanyeol is bored.
it’s a particularly cold night out and he’s pretty sure it’s snowing. he dislikes the cold and would rather stay in so he can stay warm. jongin is the only one around for him to bother, whether jongin likes it or not. at first, he didn’t have an idea of what the two of them could do together, but then he gets the great idea of setting out the monopoly game that’s been sitting around the dorms for years at this point. it’s about time someone plays it.
however, it doesn’t go exactly how chanyeol planned for it too – he likes to win, and the fact that he’s not winning is making him suddenly hate the game. somehow, jongin has managed to get so many proprieties on the board, and in comparison to how many chanyeol has.. it’s definitely a little shameful on his part.
‘this is so unfair. can we start over? i hate this–’ the words come out in a whine as he looks up from his spot on the floor and over at jongin, a frown set on his lips, brows furrowed. ‘or else this round doesn’t count!’
