KVPY 2019 Exam
KVPY 2019 is a scholarship or a fellowship exam which is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. KVPY is a national level scholarship exam conducted by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Banglore. IISc provides scholarship to basic science students up to pre Ph.D level to encourage them to study basic science courses and make a career in the science field.
KVPY exam is conducted in online mode for three streams: SA, SX and SB. Candidates enrolled in 11th class can apply under SA stream and 12th class students will go under SX stream. Those studying in the first year of UG program in basic sciences will be eligible to apply under SB stream. The KVPY selection process contains two phases: Aptitude test and Personal Interview.
KVPY exam Highlights 2019
The KVPY applications form 2019 will begin in the second week of July 2019 in online and KVPY exam (Aptitude test) will be held on November 3, 2019.
The result will be announced in December 3rd week, 2019.
After the result, selected candidates will go for a personal interview in February 2020 and Final result will be declared in the month of April 2020.
The final result will be announced on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Aptitude test and personal interview.
KVPY Fellowship will be awarded during the UG program and PG program in basic science as per IISc norms. The fellowship will be provided up to pre Ph.D level or till 5 years, whichever is earlier. Candidate availing any other scholarship cannot get KVPY scholarship, so he/she will have to leave that scholarship to avail KVPY one. Get more details related to the KVPY 2019 exam here.
