What's the verdict on the "stupid beard" and longer hair on Boogerbutt? Am I alone in thinking that look actually suits him?
Also do you predict a whumped eardrum for William after he was that close to the cannon in the trailer?
Oh, we might get a busted eardrum...
But I'm crossing my fingers for some serious battlefield injuries and maybe even some Civil War era (read: really, really BAD) field first aid...
Like, my understanding of Civil War field dressing is basically... Like, if a convention of whumpers happened to find themselves in the middle of their favorite whumpee's whumping. Like, "Wow. That's... Wow. That looks painful. That's a real shame. I'm gonna... Here, let me help you..." *throws grass on them*
Like, efforts were made... but not really.
Mind you, the Captain Colin's playing this time around didn't die in the war. He survived and fathered like a gazillion children and died in his 80s. So I don't think Colin's gonna die in this one. (WHAAAAT??) But maybe they could, like, throw some shrapnel his way or something. At the very least, he ought to be dirty and sweaty and battle-worn at some point, and that will be glorious.
As for the "stupid beard"... Well, we debated this a lot when he had the beard, and IIRC, the common consensus was that the "stupid beard" was not AT ALL stupid and actually looked quite good on him.
Actually, I think the consensus was "It's admittedly very unfashionable, yes, but also bloody FANTASTIC."
Like, it's not for the streets, but it's great for the sheets.
Yeah, I said it XD
