I love them as pets, of course! Although, Mx. Narrator says I used to eat them when I was younger. Oh, how times change…

- somewhat the leader of the group

- talkative

- resilient

- low empathy, but high compassion

- loves bugs

- always covered in soil or leaves

whether that mouse will forgive is the question…

who knew it was bitter?

you’ll pay for deception!

just keep acting out,

and hold their attention…]

Akhira (it/its)

- 9 yrs.

- energetic

- playful

- cheerful

- likes to dance and act

- collects found jewelry

- angers easily

- observant

is it all just an act?

you live on that stage,

audiences to attract.

they cheer at your actors,

who bleed out onstage.

use them as distractors-

it’s all just a cage.

Nohk (it/its)

- 10 yrs.

- quiet

- very close with Kosum

- likes to sing

- upset easily

- likes to hide

- loves rodents

- hates getting dirty

[dear, sweet little bird,

followed ‘round by your Lit’.

you’ve never been heard, and yet-

you just won’t quit!

all they hear is silence,

the shredding of wings,

you don’t need their alliance!

so pluck all your strings, to-

fill up the quiet,

the torturous naught.

Kosum (it/its)

- 10 yrs.

- semi-verbal (has verbal shutdowns but can occasionally speak - sometimes in single words, sometimes in more complex sentences)

- very close with Nohk

- keeps a garden

- bites sometimes

- clumsy

- sensory-seeking

polite.

but the little bells i wear as jewelry are your first warning -

that i am not afraid of the sound,

of metal clashing on metal.

swords grinding against teeth.
