Heyo! I am enjoying all your art you've been posting lately, I am very new to Jekyll & Hyde and was wondering if you could recomend the best movie adaptations for me? I've only seen one but it was a very long time ago and don't remember it that well. You've sparked my interest so much I'm now holding my breath that the musical might come to Australia one day :) love your blog!

I’m so happy to have you here as a follower, too, and to hear that you’re enjoying all my J&H pics, even though you’re not in the fandom (YET, I’m working on it ;P ),
The truth when it comes to J&H movies is that I’ve only seen the Mary Reilly adaption and I think - from what you told me - that’s the one you’ve seen a long time ago. It’s told from the POV of Dr. Jekyll’s maid, who’s played by Julia Roberts. Jekyll (and also Hyde) is played by John Malkovich and I think without really knowing or intending it I loosely based off my Jekyll’s design of him, at least regarding his hair and beard ;).
I might not have a comparison, but I really love that adaption. However, I’ve been trying to find the 1932 movie out of interest, but it’s neither on Prime nor Netflix :/ .
Maybe someone else around here can tell you something about other J&H movie adaptions … *looks around*?
I keep my fingers crossed for you that the musical will make it to Australia someday (and I also hope it will return to my country sometime soon again :P).
