The thing I find incredibly cool about this card and flavor is just like...Kwende is AT LEAST 80-90 years old as of Norn's invasions.

If I have a Kwende, Pride of Femeref in my graveyard and hit someone with Sidar Jabari of Zhalfir's first strike, reanimating Kwende, will Jabari deal damage again this combat?
Yes, he will.
When there are two combat damage steps in combat because of a creature with first strike or double strike attacking or blocking, they act as completely separate steps with triggers resolving and players able to cast spells and activate abilities between them.
In the second combat damage step, the only creatures to assign and deal combat damage are creatures with double strike and creatures that either didn't already assign combat damage in the first combat damage step.
Since Sidar has double strike at that time, he will assign and deal combat damage just fine in that second combat damage step.

Mageta references after almost 20 years? Yes please :D
If I have Kwende, Pride of Femeref and Archetype of Courage on the battlefield at the same time, does my whole team have double strike?
Yes, all creatures you control will have double strike regardless of the order in which Kwende and Archetype of Courage entered the battlefield.
Because applying Archetype of Courage’s ability first will change what Kwende’s ability applies to, Kwende’s ability depends on Archetype’s ability and thus will always be applied after Archetype’s ability.
I’m actually really thrilled that this interaction exists because it’s a very clean and easy to understand case of dependency.
Kwende, Pride of Femeref
Descendant of a vanished land, student of a forgotten general, and master of blades no smith could forge anew. He honors them all by living a life worthy of song.

A few months ago I shot this video for Bristol based artist Kwende. We filmed over the course of 2 and half days at The Island in the centre of Bristol which is a community artspace converted from an old police station. It was a great space to shoot in, loads of natural light from the windows above and a really huge room for us to record in that also happened to have a separate room attached that we could use for watching back rushes, a place for people to rest if they wanted while not needed and for refreshments. The final video altered slightly from our original intentions but not hugely. We’d originally planned on shooting everything so that the band appeared in a infinite white space, and while some of that aesthetic remains, I think we gained a bit of depth with the recording space we otherwise would have lost. As the budget was really tight on the video we’d decided to try and keep it nice and simple, Kwende was keen that this first video didn’t fall into the usually pitfalls of swaths of girls, clubs and booze and instead focus on his music instead. I’m really pleased with the finished result and I’m looking forward to working with him on the next one.
His debut E.P. will be released online on the 13th May.
