This Fashion Friday femme was spotted dapperly heading home after work on King St. The bright flash of colour on her glasses frames paired with subtle tweed and wool-plaid detailing is what got me curious. What’s the story behind this ecclectic mix of Sherlock meets street style?
Tegan was happy to oblige ; “I’m wearing a tweed cubbing jacket” she explained, a score she found at the Toronto Royal Winter Fair, it is traditionally worn by the Brits in the pre-hunting season. Her yellow dress shirt which she found on Etsy, features little horses, another hint at her extracurricular hobby of hunting and riding with the Wellington Waterloo Hunt Club.
The rest of the outfit ? A Herschel backpack (which matches her phone incidentally) and shoes were a find in Asheville, North Carolina where her mom lives. “I try to look exciting” she says. Bang on Tegan !
