Hyperactive and excited about everything--that’s how Chanhyun always knew that it was time to take her precious pomeranian out for a walk. The puffball of a pet hardly ever got this excited, but when he did, she always had to take him outside, before he turned her apartment into a disaster. The dog park wasn’t far from her place, and Poof generally got along with all the other dogs there. It was a good place to relax and maybe meet new people--pet owners usually had fun stories to share.

Or at least, that’s how Chanhyun ended up on a park bench, dressed as casually as ever--jeans, sneakers and a loose t-shirt--watching her adored puppy chew on his toy, pawing at the bright coloured item happily. It’s adorable. She looked away to check her phone for a moment, when a sudden loud bark sounded throughout the air, followed by a flurry of several more. Looking up, the last thing she expected was for Poof to be barking at a much larger dog. Rushing out of her seat, she rushed over--panic escaping her lips in the form of her native tongue, “Poof, what are you doing?”

Pet peeves

She dislikes being told what to do, or being talked down to by someone older or even more experienced, despite often knowing it’s only them trying to give her the best advice, she will often take it to heart and will feel as though they underestimate her. Especially when it comes to something she’s already aware off, this will easily piss her off and bring her in a bad mood, and it may even make her avoid the person if it happens too often.

As for a tiny pet peeve, but still something that’s an incredible turn off for her. It would be hanging out with someone who doesn’t know how to close their mouth while eating, the sounds of food being squished within someone’s mouth actually makes her nauseous and she will not hesitate instantly pointing it out when it does happen.

Kris nodded slowly as she listened to the male, her face growing sympathetic. She knew what it was like to find an outfit that opened your eyes to what your fashion possibilities could be but then having to put it back once the price tag pops up. She placed her hand over her chest as she shook her head “One day we will go together and find you an outfit just as amazing as that one, if not better, at a more reasonable price.” She nodded firmly “I promise!!”

She’s sitting on the floor, dressed in comfortable sweatpants and a loose hoodie and she might have had a little bit to drink--and someone as lightweight as Chanhyun shouldn’t even be drinking (oh, but her friends were insistent). She’s overly happy from the fact that Ryan was accompanying her on the floor, whilst she was a little bit out of her mind. The twenty-three year old girl rambled pointlessly about things she wanted to do, at some point in her life. 

She wouldn’t remember what she was saying in the morning, but when Ryan cut her off, Chanhyun turned to look at him, head leaned back against the cushion of the sofa. At her friend’s seemingly horrified remark, however, innocent brown eyes widened at Ryan.

Chanhyun kept her hands clasped together before tilting her head in slight confusion, “It’s not breaking in, silly. I just want to see the weird creepy bugs... without them explicitly letting me in.”

rainbow road. in other words, where mario kart and hell meet halfway as the one thing that could make rainbows and galaxies seem demonic. it’s like bowling without bumpers, except ten times worse. and for all ryan knew, he would learn how to rewire a car before he’d be able to win. that didn’t stop him from being aggressive, though – he’ll use all the shells and bananas given to him, granted, the odds that they would end up hitting him instead of any opponent were high. it’s near impossible for anyone to control their balance in such a narrow and winded mess, and now that the two players were bumper to bumper, there was no telling whether or not the way he shoved the girl’s car off the edge was an accident or not. he cringes at the sight, only to fall off a matter of seconds later, and turns to face her with narrowed eyes in annoyance. ❛ if we each got ten dollars for every time we’ve fallen off this thing, we would be loaded. that’s like five fancy dinners right there. i tried throwing all of my red shells at you, but they hit me instead! do you REALLY need to blue shell me? ❜

Chanhyun was always someone who was always cheerful and generous about things, but, she’s competitive and there’s nothing in the world that could possibly suppress her competitive nature. Chanhyun liked to win. She really liked to win, and especially if it was against a friend. All the power-ups flying around the map had her petite characters on the screen swerving as she tapped at her controller, eyes narrowed in focus. She’d fallen off the map too many times to count, but Ryan has fallen a similar amount of times and with a glance to the corner of the screen, she sighed--it’d been so long yet they still had a crap-ton of laps to complete (read: one). The threat clearly proved to be worthless--accident or not, that blue shell was going to be thrown at her friend--“If we got ten dollars for every time we’ve fallen off this thing, I would be purposefully fall and let you win, Ryan. But that’s not the case, is it?” she replied, narrowing her eyes as the cloud-controlling turtle pulled her cart back up. “No excuses! I really definitely need to blue shell you!”
